Released and Abandoned: VHS Trailer-a-rama.

  • Comfort Station 2579 North Milwaukee Avenue Chicago, IL, 60647 United States (map)

To kick off another season of Released and Abandoned: Forgotten Oddities of the Home Video Era curator Paul Freitag-Fey presents various rare VHS trailers and bumpers.

The trailers are often better than the movie, so for our first entry in this year's program of the forgotten treasures of the VHS era, we'll be spending two hours watching nothing but the good stuff! Experience fallen celebrities! Ill-conceived kids films! Hidden horrors! Erotic thrillers! Erotic comedies! Erotic dramas! (The late '80s were a sexy time.) Pulse-poounding action! And... other!

Hosted by Paul Freitag-Fey writer for the DAILY GRINDHOUSE and sponsored by The DailyGrindhouse.

Released and Abandoned: Forgotten Oddities of the Home Video Era is a monthly series curated by Paul Freitag-Fey featuring odd and lost/forgotten movies from the home video era some never distributed in theaters or on DVD.

Programmed by Raul Benitez and Nando Espinosa Herrera.
