"Adam records under the name Eyesore, because he feels that if every song sounded like the closing track on Women's "Public Strain" the world would be a much better place and he strives to write songs that make him feel as moved as that one does. The band consists of Adam on guitar, guitar, guitar, and sometimes another guitar, and also bass, keys, and drum machine. His music consists of harmonic experiments that draw from his background as a music theorist and classical guitarist. Adam moved to Chicago from Eugene, Oregon after completing a PhD in music theory and intermedia music technology in 2016, and currently lives in Chicago's Uptown neighborhood with two dogs and a wife who stayed with him despite a year of him listening almost exclusively to Anton Webern and Cannibal Corpse. You can listen to Adam's music at quartertonality.bandcamp.com. His electronic music can be found at soundcloud.com/quartertonality"
"Cinchel uses various computer and outboard effects to abstract live instrumenation and sculpt it into ambient/drone peices. For this evening he will focus on live improvisational processing and layering of solo guitar. some recent examples can be found here: http://cinchel.bandcamp.com/“
