Sulky Driver
Sulky Driver is a solo outfit of Donny Mahlmeister. The project takes its influence from the roots of early American and European electronic music akin to Ashra, Cluster, Suzanne Ciani and Brian Eno, and intersects it with a guitar tradition steeped in drone and modal playing such as Richard Thompson, John Fahey, Tom Verlaine and Daniel Lanois.

Donny Mahlmeister has been involved of a variety of ensembles; A Tundra, Judson Claiborne, Collections of Colonies of Bees, Early Day Miners, Colossal, and continues to work with Bora Bora, The Shape Of, and Will Phalen.
