Comfort Station is proud to present a lecture by Anna Felicity Friedman.

Over the past 25 years, tattoo historian Anna Felicity Friedman has investigated tattoo art and culture from prehistory through the present day. In her Comfort Station talk, she’ll present some highlights from her recent research travels in the Middle East documenting current Christian pilgrimage tattoos, the Jordanian tattoo scene, and the quickly disappearing Bedouin tattoo tradition. She’ll give an overview of the new foundation she spearheaded, the Center for Tattoo History and Culture, and be available to answer all your most pressing tattoo-related questions. She’ll have some copies of her newest book, World Atlas of Tattoo, available for sale as well.
