Music performances happen every Thursday at 7pm

Art openings happen the first Saturday of every month, and are displayed for the entirety of the month

Vernacular Photography: The Art in Your Closet A Talk by Nakki Goranin

What is Vernacular Photography? Why now? What is the future
for this new art movement? Join Artist/Author/Collector Nakki Goranin for an illustrated lecture on vernacular photography.
Nakki is the author of the book, AMERICAN PHOTOBOOTH. Miss Goranin is
both a photographer and a photohistorian, holding a Master's Degree in Fine Arts
Photography and Anthropology from Indiana University. She was a 2015 Finalist for
a Smithsonian Fellowship for writing. Her photographs have been in numerous museum and gallery shows in both the US and Europe, and have been featured in 2 Hollywood movies.
Her photos were included in a travelling show , American Masterpieces, from the NEA and she received an NEA grant. Nakki is finishing a history /art book exploring the world of tintypes.
