About the filmmaker:
"Gina Telaroli was born on an early Wednesday morning into the lap of Reagan, with her sun in Taurus and her moon in Capricorn. She is a Cleveland, Ohio-raised and currently NYC-based filmmaker, visual essayist, critic, programmer, and the video archivist at Sikelia Productions. Her feature and short film work has screened at Anthology Film Archives, BAM, the Museum of the Moving Image, the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Cinemateca Portuguesa, and at venues large and small throughout the world. She has edited and contributed to comprehensive anthologies on the work of William A. Wellman, Allan Dwan, and Tony Scott, as well as curating or consulting on film series devoted to their work at MoMA, Il Cinema Ritrovato, the George Eastman Museum, 92Y Tribeca, and more. Currently she is in pre-production on two new short films, one of which she will co-direct with filmmaker and researcher Erin Espelie. She is also working on an illustrated monograph about Henry King with filmmaker and translator Ted Fendt." -
