Comfort Film Presents:
Rights Lab: Experiments in democracy/documentary.

Civil rights web series ‘Rights Lab’ by Scrappers Film Group will screen at Comfort Station on April 20th

The First Amendment's right to protest is one widely defended in the progressive sphere - but what if the group doing the protesting is also interfering with access to reproductive healthcare?

The fourth episode of Rights Lab, a cross-genre web series using cinema verite techniques to explore the most pressing civil liberties questions of our day, explores the right to protest, to whom it applies, and when.

Scrappers Film Group, in collaboration with, invites you to the final event in our four-part series of screenings, conversations and performances at Comfort Station.

Along with a screening of the Rights Lab episode, the event will include a panel discussing the state of reproductive rights nationally and the current feminist movement.

Rights lab is funded in part by Chicago Filmmakers and The Voqal Fund’s Chicago Digital Media Production Fund.
