Film screenings happen every Wednesday at 8pm

Outdoor Film screenings are at dusk (sundown) out on the Comfort Station lawn.

Music performances happen every Thursday at 7pm

Art openings happen the first Saturday of every month, and are displayed for the entirety of the month

All other events happen intermittently

About Jeff Phillips:

Jeff Phillips has been passionate about photography for more than 30 years. He is committed to the Chicago photography community and helps produce the annual Filter Photo Festival in Chicago. 

Phillips’ images have been exhibited and published internationally, and his photographic projects have been featured at conferences and festivals including SXSW, Society of Photographic Educators (SPE), Filter Photo Festival, Pecha Kucha in Chicago and Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis.

Phillips is the creator of Lost and Found: The Search for Harry and Edna (harryandedna.com), a viral social media and photography experiment that became a traveling exhibition and subsequently received national media attention for its content and production.

The Vernacular Photography Festival is a celebration of the art and collecting of vernacular photography curated by Ron Slattery. 

Over the course of 23 dates, we'll have talks by John Foster, Nakki Goranin, Ron Slattery, Shari Wilkins, Pamela Bannos, Nicholas Osborn, Albert Tanquero and Vanessa Daou. 

Other events include a 3D slideshow, scopitone show, community home movie night, a photo booth provided by A&A Studios, and much much more.
