3 – Diagrama do Útero

As modern women, we have a range of paths to choose following. Being a mother and a wife with childrens to care, a worker in the labor Market, or try to juggle all these functions in one: being a woman in a man’s world. A lot was conquered by others, but the fight must go on – we still gain a lower salary doing the same function as a man, we are still seen as objects in advertising, we still have to live apologizing for not being born male. This is our diagram.
“Uterus Diagram” is a poetic documentary of archive images that proposes reflections on our society, on the woman herself and her indecision about how to engage or disengage in these labels that persecute us since the “It’s a girl”, said the doctor.

The Little México Film Festival or LiMe Film Fest an itinerant & international festival of short films by independent filmmakers, was founded in 2010 in the Little Village Chicago Il. to provide a constructive platform for filmmakers of any skill level and provide an opportunity to explore issues that affect communities through dialogue. 
LiMe Film Fest seeks to expose cinematic talent of all ages and levels and welcomes all media/audiovisual individuals and arts organizations to participate.

The Little México Film Festival has joined forces with COMFORT STATION, which is a multidisciplinary art space whose mission is to present challenging and stimulating programming that is open and accessible to everyone.
