COMFORT SOCIETY PRESENTS: Ray Doeksen on 'Digital Fabrication and 3D Printing'

We are proud to present Ray Doeksen as our speaker this Sunday in the Comfort Society series of talks sponsored by Intelligentsia Coffee.

Doeksen’s talk on digital fabrication and 3D printing will be a discussion of contemporary technologies that put manufacturing and prototyping tools in the hands of artists, entrepreneurs, hackers, hobbyists, designers and everyone else.

A Chicago-based, Detroit-born multidisciplinary designer and consultant, Doeksen is the Chicago Curator for The Makers Nation, PR Director for Pumping Station 1, a 2D/3D/UX designer and co-founder of USA-OK Industries.

Comfort Society is a series of talks on anything from the useful to the unexpected. Talks take place Sundays at noon and coffee is served.

Free.
