Outdoor Film screenings are at dusk (sundown) out on the Comfort Station lawn.

Music performances happen every Thursday at 7pm

Art openings happen the first Saturday of every month, and are displayed for the entirety of the month

COMFORT SOCIETY PRESENTS: Paul Booth on Time Travel in the Media

We are proud to present Paul Booth as our next speaker in the Comfort Society series of talks sponsored by Intelligentsia Coffee.

Paul Booth is an associate professor of Media and Cinema Studies in the College of Communication. He is the author of four books, including Time on TV (about time travel), Digital Fandom, and Game Play, and the editor of three books, including Fan Phenomenon: Doctor Who. He researches Fandom, New Media, Games, Technology, Popular Culture, and Cultural Studies. He teaches classes in media studies, television narrative, convergence and digital media, fandom, board games, popular culture, social media, communication technology, and participatory cultures. He is currently enjoying a cup of coffee.

Comfort Society is a series of talks on anything from the useful to the unexpected. Talks take place Sundays at 11:00 am and coffee is served.
