Stop by Comfort Station on your way to the Logan Square Farmer’s Market this Sunday and join us in our final potluck of 2014! Summer has officially turned to fall, the farmer's market will soon be coming to a close, and winter coats will be dusted off any day now. One last hurrah before winter hits, shall we?
!The Comfort Food Potluck is a relaxed junction of tradition, perception and revelation of our experience with food. Free of pretense, open and welcoming to all, we aim to gather and share our food with each other. All food is welcome and thereʼs no competition. Weʼre not looking for the next great dish--instead, weʼre looking to meet more people in our community, and learn more about each otherʼs connection to food.
Sunday, October 5th 11am-1pm.
The Comfort Station is in the heart of Logan Square at 2579 N. Milwaukee Ave.
Please bring ready-to-serve food items and appropriate serving utensils. Plastic plates, bowls, cutlery and paper towels will be provided. It should be noted that we are only able to serve items, not cook or heat them.
The potlucks are free. A donation jar will be out to collect any donation, large or small, to directly benefit the Comfort Station and to cover the costs of supplies for the potluck.
